Alternative comment by Death: "They thought it was FLEAS!"

The original script just called for a sick individual - my guess was that aside from those who are gifted or who Death WANTS to see, he might be visible to those who are near death themselves (sickness counts, don't judge me!).

When I finally came about drawing it, I decided that rather than come up with a new character, I'd root through my notebooks and grab this poor old man who features as a particularly unlucky fellow in two one-shot joke comics. I know absolutely nothing of how he looks from the side (and therefore neither will you, as I tried and failed at drawing him in this comic - you can see I decided to just keep the one pose). I also don't know his name, so feel free to pretend his name is Larry, or George, or Zodnor the Bald.

Moving on… I will tell you right now that what little I know of doctors, I learned from Scrubs. So… I guess you get an intern helping him.

She doesn't have a name either. Let's call her Dr. Needle for now.

Let's also assume that she thinks everything can be fixed with injections.
