Yada yada yada, hate furniture, blah blah blah.

I did some unorthodox stuff here - for one, I wrote in the headlines and classifieds (It's a small town newspaper). For another, I totally copy/pasted a colored melody for all four panels - the third had her with her mouth shut, which I'd already edited when it was still in black and white, so I just pasted everything but the mouth area.

…It's weird, I know.

The reason I did not draw Melody's mom is because I already had a comic with just her, and it seemed unfair - and like a massive amount of unnecessary work. I like drawing, but I'm also incredibly lazy. Especially after the double-shift I had to pull just to RE-DRAW the entire Page 8 for this chapter. Forgive me for cutting corners.

Also, if you haven't noticed, the fonts are a bit different. I don't know why, but the PC is a bit more clear when typing things out. Blegh, I liked the fuzzy font. Ah, well.

Maybe it shows up differently for you folks - even the color is completely off for me. This monitor shows much of Mel&Mac in a vaguely sepia tone. Which is nice, given the vaguely Victorian feel I have doing this project, but it's awfully difficult to pick out the different shades - seriously, on here, I can barely tell the difference between Death's "skin" and his "robe".

I use quotation marks because they're neither skin nor a robe. He really consists of varying degrees of shadow.
