It's so sad to see that every time Melody smiles, Death wipes it away in a single, clean stroke.

Agh, you can barely see where his hands are in some spots. Also, I need to work on a better way to draw word bubbles. Gyah.

Alright, so I was toying with a lot of concepts for the List/Book/Whatever. For instance, it's not his only means of seeing when people will die (you will see soon). However, this is probably his own personal way of keeping track of things.

Also, it's not really impossible to be made manifest (it's very much the same as with Death himself), but it would probably take quite some time (which Death obviously doesn't have in this case) and would certainly be very limiting - for instance, you would have to directly request a certain date and time of birth/death, or a name.

I'd assume "date" and "time" would work within the reader's, whereas Death himself would apply far different methods for keeping track of these things.

Names, too, would require a lot of detail. Middle names, father and mother's names, grandparents too, I think…

I think Death could read it a lot faster than any of us could, though it would still take quite a while. But I can just imagine him poring over it, looking for… anomalies.
