There is more color than I really would like in this series.

I initially had Heather's skin color in a gray tone, as with much everything else - however, I wanted her clothing to be a backwards type of shading from Melody's (lighter skirt than sweater/coat), and it turned out that the skirt was the same color as her face. Which is a problem if you don't want people to think a character is wearing ONLY a coat.

After I did that, I noticed that Emily, when she appears, is too pale, and Melody is supposed to be more-or-less the only really pale person. So I colored her too. Then her hair in final touchings, because I realized she looked stupid with gray hair. So it seems I am slowly devolving back to my old comics' style of COLORING EVERYTHING. I don't like it, not one bit.

I'm trying to still keep the colors dull and saturated, though. It should at least look like I'm TRYING for gray.

Regarding what just happened in this comic - I'll leave you folks to think about it. :)
