I'll leave the punchline open to interpretation. I say this because I actually started wondering what could be interpreted by this. Could "nice" simply refer to the fact that the killer is nearby? Or could it be in reference to the river, Acheron, which is named after one of the rivers of the Underworld? Or could it simply be that Melody rhymed?

That look of contemplation in Panel 3 seems a bit ominous, though…

I toyed around a LOT with this. For one, I had difficulty drawing Melody over the radio in quite the way I wanted it. This is probably due to the difficulty drawing Melody in Panel 2, to begin with. She STILL doesn't look right, I think it's the angle in which I drew her.

So, I ultimately erased the radio (luckily I copypasted it multiple times for a proper background - along with the basic starter shapes and head-circle placements for Melody and Death), and later copied and pasted it from another panel, then her over it. I kept her holding the knob on the right, and did some zoom-in cleanup (Paint was involved, blargh), and I think it turned out alright.

Also, the "bubbles" for the radio's text were done in Paint as well. I added some extra shading so it fit in a bit better with the other stuff. Should've did some "shading" on the straight lines, too. At least I managed to add in Death's "shadow," haha.

The radio was a pain to do. I didn't have any reference photos for old-timey radios, so I was pulling it out of memory. Bad idea, for sure, it kinda blended the two and mutilated them into an unrecognizeable mess that looks vaguely like a face (now, you'll ALWAYS THINK THAT! HAHAHA!).

If anybody recognizes the song that plays first, you win a fabulous prize: NOTHING. Except the satisfaction that you are knowledgeable in music.

I'll give you two hints.

1) The title of the song follows the lyrics there.
2) Death should have probably stopped Melody so he could listen to that - I just reeeally wanted to keep going in the story.
