I really like pages where I have to do very minimal work. Unfortunately, it gets me very little practice. But at this time of night, I'm very tired.

So, you get to see a possible look of Death without his hood. Unfortunately, this is all just one way to see him - hell, I even gave lines purely to make it easy to see. If I was REALLY going to work hard on it, I would have kept it blurry, with just more definite features. But this way the joke works better.

I actually have a variation of this sketched out someplace. I think it's drawn from a different angle, but it's more or less the same image of Melody (which I drew earlier in this chapter, and am pretty much lifting and editing).

In case you're wondering, though… Simon is in a motel somewhere within the town limits of Corbeau, and yes, he owns a laptop as well as a PC.
