I'm not sure what those lines are in panel four. Imagine it's action lines of him standing up, then I won't have to respond to questions of "IS HE CHARGING UP LIKE A SAIYAN???"

Because no. He's not. Though he is pretty pissed.

And… gah, I'm suddenly aware that I am being VERY inconsistent with Melody's scarf. Apologies! I'll fix it later on.

It should be made perfectly clear that Death seriously has no idea what this guy's talking about.

Though Simon might. And so might you. ;)

Random artsy notes - I'd actually planned to show the shadows for Samael and Melody, and give Death a "shadow" that he just melted into. Then I realized that I'd made the pavement black here. Sooo… no dice.

Also, I'd almost forgotten that Samael was supposed to have blood on him. So I had to spatter some in there real quick. I don't know if they match up with what he had in the last comic, but I tried making it consistent within the panels of this one.

And now, remember what I'd said before, how there are certain different reasons why someone can see Death. Either they're near death themselves (like the sickly old man or the old woman who witnessed him), or he wants them to see him (like Melody), or they are gifted in some way.

I'll leave you to figure out what it is for Samael, on your own. At least, until it becomes glaringly obvious. :D
