Yet again, Death shows his overprotectiveness of his pet human.

I am suddenly aware that I posted yesterday's comic on the wrong day. CURSES!

My schedule has been crazy this week, I apologize. I can't wait until this is over with, and I can take a good long break.

(I'm not abandoning the series, I promise - think of this chapter as the Season Finale.)

I feel sorry for Melody. The poor kid goes through so much, and now she's being thrown on the dirty pavement and threatened with a bloody knife.

I had to use two shades of red. I hate that, but the red for blood is too dull for the bright red eyes of Death's vicious glare.

Similarly, I had to make a decision about the background, which became gray instead of black, as Death himself is black, and… well, let's face it, you can't see anything but his eyes if I do that for the heavy darkness surrounding him.

…Could've just gone for black lines. Gah, I always thinking of things too late.

I'll fix it later! XD
