Wow, is the Grim Reaper actually showing HUMAN emotion? That seems an awful lot like sadness…

As with yesterday's page, I drew everybody independently (rather than copying and pasting). However, after pasting in the bloodstain from yesterday's comic, I think I should have been a bit more careful with Melody.

Death looks fine, though.

And speaking of Death, I hope you understand what he means by "in a manner of speaking." I'll explain it later on, so if you don't get it now, you will when it comes up again.

So yes, I'm dating the series. I figure it's about the week before Thanksgiving. I was going to make it the week OF Thanksgiving, but that fell through when I realized that this event occurs on Thursday, and making hand turkeys AFTER Thanksgiving is moronic, even for the second grade.

Interesting note - I think I was actually wanting this Scene to go up during HALLOWEEN, though the series would still take place in November. But meh, it should be fine.

Regarding the break next week and beyond - it'll probably be three weeks before I start to miss my fictional friends, but don't be surprised if I start updating again after two weeks. Hopefully I'll have a real date before the end of the week, and I'll stick it up on the back cover page.
