And so it begins. Things will be changing from here. For sure.

So anyway, yes, that's some "bling" hanging from Ace's neck. And no, he's not a "Gangsta Jew." It's the Seal of Solomon, which is more or less the Star of David, but with some mysticism added to it. Words inscribed upon it to ward off evil.

I don't know exactly why I'm keeping Ace a mystery. Probably to make a bigger impact when he fully appears. I like the whole Anime-esque approrach to obscuring his face, though I really did it when I realized his head was too big, then when I redrew it, I couldn't move the whole body without adding more to below, which is just… blah.

So, it seems some (my mom) think my series is getting too dark. Too depressing. I'm fully aware, but I'm surprised they didn't expect this from the very beginning when I established Melody as a very lonely child. And Death as actually TAKING PEOPLE'S SOULS.

I promise, you guys, the comedy will continue, but you need to realize that this IS a horror/comedy, and it WILL be getting worse.

Don't worry though, we'll have some fun too.

Speaking of fun, I'll be taking two weeks off to cool off and work on the script for Act II. Act I ends tomorrow with the back cover page. =P
