And so, Death channels the great George Carlin. And me. Prepare for more ranting…

I don't have anything against psychology or psychiatry, beyond the whole "Throw a pill at it, see if it disappears" garbage. Also, the idea that everybody needs to talk out their feelings. And the idea that somehow you deserve to have people listen to you. Nobody listens to me. Wanna know how I get through the stress? I DRAW.

What is bothersome IS how soft we've gotten. I mean, yes, you should mourn the loss of your loved ones, those you were close to, but… news flash, everybody dies. And so will you. Best to get over it while you can.

I know I'm having some trouble with it. Why else do a comic about death?

By the way, he's not referring to the Principal in this at all. You'll see who he's talking about next week, but it's… yeah, the counselor.

I wish I'd done more sight gags for Melody in this one. I just couldn't think of anything else. Listening to the radio? Playing with a paddleball? I don't know…

I don't think Death's pointing in Panel 3 was clear enough. it looks like… I dunno, some kind of garden bush, or something.
