I think this is the cutest I've ever written for her. Nevermind that her knowledge of a DICTIONARY should ensure that she doesn't make these mistakes (I assume mythology isn't covered in that edition), you gotta admit, that's just freakin' adorable.

I told myself I wouldn't repeat the fuzzy look, but I was feeling really lazy today, so I just copy/pasted the first panel of yesterday's comic and edited accordingly.

So, it's October. Big month for anybody who, like me, is obsessed with Halloween. Starting Monday, I'm gonna cut off our story for a little while (sorry for those who are left hanging), and introduce a side-story. Actually, a prequel. Melody will be there, as will Death (though obviously not together), and hopefully it'll give me some room to stretch with philosophy, regarding death and acceptance, which I don't really get to go into with Mel&Mac (which is weird, because it seems like I SHOULD).

It'll probably last all month. I'll clear you up on the details once I have something written and ready to go. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have a good bit of stuff prepared.

"Why are you doing this," you ask? Well, again, Halloween is a big deal for me, and long, long ago, when I was doing a cheesy comic with all my friends in it, I took October off to do a Halloween plot, posting pages every other day. It was fun, and involved pumpkin men springing to life in revenge for a character's violence towards Jack-o'-Lanterns.

This prequel won't be as eventful, but it will have cameos of Melody and her classmates, so that should be fun at least…
