Hey, don't I know those kids…?

Anyway, this is our prequel. It's a prequel because it takes place the Halloween prior to the events of Mel&Mac - I'm sure you're all aware by now that Melody & Macabre takes place in mid- to late-November.

I was going to do our old man friend here with a tilted voice bubble, like Melody, but I figured it'd be a bit too weird. Melody should be special. Not that she IS special, just… she needs something to stand out, yes?

I might be putting this on a different comic page when I finish - I plan to do more minicomics at a later date - but for now, you folks can enjoy it here.

I feel like I'm repeating some of this info, sorry.

(I totally finished this a half hour before today.)

Random last note - yes, I changed up my grays. There are three now. I'm doing this because it does take place at night, and now that I think of it, doing everything in one shade of gray is painful for me. So, I'll try and keep it like this.

Death will still be all black.
