Maybe.

A few weird stories about making this comic, if anybody cares. First off, I made it on time. Yay for me!

Secondly, I actually drew this backwards. Started with the last panel, and I think ended with the first. Okay, I might have done it clockwise. I'd hafta time travel to double-check myself, but I don't feel like it right now.

Thirdly, I was resizing the comic and realized I drew the characters too small. So I had to resize again at 70%, copy the characters, then paste onto the first resized comic, so I had them taking up enough space to… you know… actually see them.

I don't know if I'd pointed this out, but have you noticed that Ace nearly always shows his teeth? I kinda thought that'd be some weird characteristic for him. Like Death's animated features and personality, and his ability to loom over anyone no matter of height. Or Simon's awkwardly large glasses. And awkward facial features. And awkward social skills. And awkward art inconsistency. And awkward (vague) similarity to yours truly.

Let's not even get started on Melody.

Now that I think of it, I really should have had Ace be the one in the other sell, probably faking being drunk (or simply getting drunk in the first place) to get himself in prison, then break himself and Simon out. That's something he'd do, yeah? But… eh, ultimately I think this works better, because this way he'd have knowledge of the aforementioned death.

Still makes you wonder who was in that cell, though.

Don't worry, though, folks, there's still plenty of mystery behind our strange tall-haired friend.
