I know it's a cliche joke - that's why I added a punchline.

I had some fun drawing this one - though I was a bit frustrated (and therefore lazy) about having to draw a background. had to show they were at the door of the police station, and… ugh, I didn't want to do it.

Anyway, some background on these two. They've never actually met in person until today - nearly all of Simon's friends are actually online friends. I'd had a character profile once that pointed out under "friends" (whereas Melody's was more-or-less nonexistent except for ol' Morty), Simon's included the people on his Friends List on MySpace. I can't go into the details just yet about these two, but I can at least say that they both share a similar interest, and that led to super-secret Ace to keep tabs on him, and use him as a connection on certain mythological subjects. Simon, ever out of touch with society, believes Ace to be simply a friend with common interests.

Oowooh, conflict. If only I gave a crap about drama.
