Now that I think about it, I wouldn't be surprised if Simon made that story up.

I figured, Simon made plans and booked a hotel room for himself, figuring he'd spend some time there while looking for the girl that led him to the Grim Reaper. Ace had no such expectations, so he's crashing the party.

I'd actually stayed in hotel rooms not unlike this one. It's best to work with what you know, right? If only I didn't suck…

I actually did my shadowing layer a bit darker here for the balcony, so as to make a contrast between the light and dark. Or whatever.

And ugh… I fear the yaoi fangirl wave from that last panel. I didn't mean it to look so… gay. For either of them.

Attention creepy fangirls: Ace is straight (I think), and Simon is… asexual.
