Ace's comment is paraphrased from one of my friends upon reading Scn 10: A Dark Valley. He suggested that the whole serial-killer-quoting-scripture is a bit much. I personally don't care either way, as the guy's a loony to begin with.

Anyway, have I already mentioned that I've determined that his dagger is probably obsidian? Which brings a further question - would an igneous rock such as that even manage cutting bone, or would it shatter like glass? Damn… let's pretend it's just a dark, dark metal. Iron, yeah. Or a tainted steel. Uhhh, right.

God, I freakin' hate drawing bookcases. I don't like doing that many of one thing.

I once tried a series with way too much of what I hate most - backgrounding - it was a very scenic fantasy, the sole story issue was the world itself, and I was very much sick of it before I even finished the second chapter (which should have been all a single chapter, now that I think of it, which means I didn't even finish a single one). The point where I gave up was a house of a bookmaker, who had piles - mountains - of books. I'm sorry, I know some can do it, but I can't. I quit it, as the story wasn't really that worth it. This is worth all the painstaking details, though. And if I flub something, I'll fix it later. MEL&MAC SPECIAL EDITION: COMING IN 2013! (The world will be ended by then, lawl, so I won't hafta do it.)
