Scene 19: Cheating Death

All hail the hourglass! I don't really like how this looks, actually, I should've mad the top and bottom globes more rounded on their respective "bottoms." And I should've tried to somehow make it more obvious that it's flowing up. Relating to the Scene's title - but not the scene itself.

I don't think everybody will like this chapter. Hell, I barely like it. But I do like exposition as opposed to action, and as you recall from most of Act I, I'm good with dialogue.

I am not, however, good at drawing the same crap over and over again. So I may snap halfway through and take out five blocks of housing when my head goes off in a nuclear explosion.

That's why I'm not liking this chapter. You'll have an entirely different reason not to like it.

Just know that originally, the past chapter was supposed to be the final showdown and this was going to be #20, which I would have titled Memento Mori. But new ideas made an Act III, and a lost script made this… um… Scene 19.
