This was a lot better in my head, I think. No awkwardness about checking to see if the seven-year-old is alright. Then again, we have to assume that he assumes Samael showed up.

When I was a kid, I would. pretend that my watch was a sentient wrist-bound computer that would enable me with superpowers. Ace just has a teleportation device attached to a regular wristwatch, so don't worry.

I plan to use the wristwatch concept later on, but that'll be for a different series and will be a different purpose entirely. But yay anyway.

I'm sure you've noticed the lack of balcony in the last two panels. That's because I am sick of drawing it. Two pages in, and I'm sick of drawing it. I'll try and move the view to the inside of the room more, 'cuz that's driving me insane. Especially since the darkness makes it hard to see Melody's hair.
