Awww…

I believe originally, Death had actually been with Melody all night, then went missing when they teleported to the motel. Unfortunately, the damn original script was LOST, so you have this crappy substitute which gives no reason for our Dark Friend's absence. I apologize.

Interesting side-note: I apparently thought that situation was still there, because my rewritten script had Melody follow up the first two panels' conversation with "Morty? …Where's Morty?"

So yes, I got incredibly lazy for the balcony. I didn't even double-shade it, because it would have completely washed out Melody's head. And I like my work on her hair in this one.

Has anybody noticed the change in copyright font yet? It's now Century Gothic, which was once Death's voice font. I thought it would be more distinct for the series than Arial, even though you only really see that little bit.

Now that I think of it, I should probably note why the font in the title was never changed (since it's still Century and Century Gothic) - I tried, I really did, but my name looked weird and didn't really fit well in Papyrus.
