Gasp! Ace has eyes!

Originally, it'd have been a two-panel reveal - he raises the shades, then says "Oh." But… meh.

It's nothing major really, I just wanted to show that Ace was human, not a freak like Samael. It does make one wonder, though - once you've seen Death, can you see him thereafter? After he showed himself to Simon, can Simon spot him every time he comes by? The rules of everyday observation would argue yes, since once you notice something, it's hard not to pick it out again - a face, a blemish in a painting/wallpaper/face/whatever… and, assuming that the inability to see Death, ghosts, etc. is purely the inability to WANT to see it as some suggest. The human factor of "none of my business," the concept that if it doesn't fit in with your concept of reality, you tend to ignore it, makes me think that yes, now that he knows he's right, he could probably pick him out.

Or, maybe the rules previously stated are set in stone, and Death just forgot that Simon isn't "gifted". Or even in the room, haaa.

Or maybe he still wants him to see him.

I hope everybody noticed that Ace isn't using his gun-thingy on Death. Though he probably could - it's not a physical bullet, but a bullet of spiritual energy - he merely has a habit of pistol-pointing. Not sure where he got that.

And oh-em-gee, is Melody hugging DEATH!? Don't see why not, he's patted her head plenty of times….
