Scene 20: Elysium

I wonder what that means.

I actually wanted that flower they show on the old cartoons when a character dies, flopping over with that… you know… white flower on their chest. The problem is, I couldn't figure out what kind of flower it was, and therefore could not look up reference images. So, I went with a rose. A black rose. I know what a rose looks like, I can draw it from memory.

Sort of.

I think this Scene is going to be a more depressing ending to Act II than Scene 10 was to Act I, but that's just me. It's bittersweet, really - not everything is bad, since Death told off Samael, so he won't be after her.

…Right?

I think I mentioned that the series at one point would have ended at Scene 20, but then I thought… a play has three acts. Then I thought of many other things to do, so I moved the major things that would have happened in "Danse Macabre" and "Elysium" to the end, though I only changed one of the Scenes' names.

In case you're wondering, it was this Scene I renamed, so I could still use the last Scene's title at the end.
