Sorry to everyone who saw Wednesday's comic for yesterday's comic. It's fixed now, feel free to change your comments. I must've been out of it and really eager to be done with it.

I don't quite like the layout of the text in Panel 3 here, but… meh. You get what direction it's supposed to go in, right?

I think one of the major problems of this series (aside from the fact that I write more than I can fit, and hafta shave it at the last minute) is that it offers up a fairly small cosmology. Not only are many gods throughout the world suggested to be a single being, but often many gods WITHIN A SINGLE CULTURE are. Case in point, Death is so abstract that he encompasses Osiris AND Anubis, as well as a number of minor Egyptian death gods.

I feel like a cheat, but it offers me an interesting opportunity for someone to hopefully one day state that there are both more, and less, deities than you would expect.

Only Panels 2 and 3 are new. You can kinda tell. I wasn't sure what to do for Death's eyes in Panel 2, I asked some folks what would be a good color for a stubborn "screw you" expression. They said brick red. I said that was my rage color. They said "Go with that." So there you go. >_>
