This philosophy also works with Death's job.

To be fair, though, some people do care when they step on bugs. But it's to be assumed Ace doesn't (or really, even notice). And Death doesn't care either.

I came up with Panel 2's comment at random on a boring little moment, much as many bits of stories come about. I have a quiet time, and my brain starts running at twice the speed to keep me from losing my sanity.

This week's comics are a bit dark, aren't they? Hm.

Simon's little addition was actually another bit of Ace's speech, but Simon and Max have been rather… useless, lately. I don't like that.

I really hate that I had to introduce Max only to have her be useless, too. It's… unnerving. I hope to do a lot more with her in the sequel/spinoff. Should I ever get around to it.
