Seems like this isn't just about Emily's issues.

Ugh, I swear, I wanted to get so far ahead this weekend. Three comics, I could've done before Monday. But nooo, my mom wanted to go do stuff. Gettysburg on Friday, ballgame on Saturday, some German Folk Festival on Sunday. And of course, I went because I don't want to be a jerk.

Not that they weren't fun, of course. Gettysburg is a piece of history, going to a baseball game is probably the most fun you can have watching a sport (IMO), and you can find the neatest things at a festival.

But damn, if I'm not exhausted. And I just barely got my comic done on time. Then again, that's no different from usual, so whatever.

Anyway, this was a bit tricky. Originally, I'd scripted that with every bit of Emily's stuff in the first panel, she'd still be smacking at Melody with her dark… tentacle… things…

But, I can't portray that. So we have this.

And it's kinda cramped, but I finally get to show that Emily is not an illusion or transformation. She's effectively a puppet.

And damn if that face is not creepy. Aaand I forgot to lighten up her teeth and eyes. Egh, maybe later. *tired*
