…Wait, what?

I wonder how many actually saw this coming.

One of my favorite parts of writing for the Dark Ones is that I get to give them nicknames primarily between them.

The Boogeyman is called by Death in various forms of Boggart and the like, though I'm sure he would also be counted as the Shadow and the Creeper. The Sandman would call him the Nightmare.

Death himself is called by Shroud (referring to a death shroud), the Skull, and probably also Shadow (of a more morbid sort). I wouldn't be surprised to find someone calling him Rot.

Tragically, the Sandman does not appear, but I would not be surprised if Death called him Sleepy, Dozey, or even Candle.

I um… I'm sure there are others, but I never really considered any but the Night Beings. Except maybe Night herself (and believe me, Nox would totally be female).

Ah, the things I could have done with this series if I hadn't decided to cut it off here. It's been a good run though, and the sequel will hopefully take it even further, meaning my ideas won't be without merit.
