Hakka's cursed because she used the Tsukikage in order to kill the guy she was supposed to marry (forced marriage). And the Tsukikage is an sword possessed by an incredibly powerful curse. ~_o
The old Ankhol Eighnal gave her the sword (she told it in the 6th chapter, "Bloodstained Brotherhood", after listening Dystopia's story. :3
She met Thane some years after running away from her clan, and MFR's story begin some weeks after she met Thane. x3
