Psychoetherose:
Rubican's definition: A rare and ancient thing… Psychoetherose is an hyper-sensibility to auras, which allows its host to growth in every element and become lot more powerful than the most of the living, including the Devil Hunters. It’s what we call “psychoetherose”. It’s an abnormal development of the sense, who allows its owner to resent every aura that is near the host.

Motherland: A place located in the Nine-Tails Graveyard, where Kumihoes come to die.

Kumiho (Kitsune Kumiho+[plural Kumihoes]): Kitsune Kumihoes are wandering fox spirit which generally takes the appearance of very beautiful women. They're generally friendly and spend most of their time in seducing the traveler. However, when the night comes, they can become very dangerous ; The moonlight reveal Kitsune Kumihoes' true appearance, which usually is a monstrous fox.
They usually wears a cat mask, but they can hide it whenever they want. Breaking the mask exorcise the beast and allow the soul to find eternal slumber. But nowadays, Kumihoes are extremely rare, and are seen as nature disaster or as benedictions, depending on traditions.
By the way, it's says that Kumihoes affectionate the Nine-Tails Graveyard, in the Altremare continent, because this is the place where they come to die. It's also said that Kumihoes can die many times without disappear.

@ghostrunner: The meal itself is weird… Scyther Rika only eats corpses… And optionally Astharoth's milk, which is a mix between dark essence and poisoned milk.

@Dark Pascual: Yeah… And at least, you won't get crazy if you look a Na'vi's eye… You might end dead, but not crazy. With Scyther, you might end dead AND berserk…

@Peipei: Do not pay attention to Astharoth's random whining about normal women giving birth to normal babies… She complained about her lover giving birth to an human baby, and her lover answered that since she was human, she'd have some difficulties to give birth to a baby with an huge black arm weighting more than 5000 kilograms. And besides, there is no human woman who would survive to this.
Astharoth started whining again about discrimination, and everybody decided that it was time to go to bed after stealing a piece of ham. (From Hevan's memories)

Plus, Astharoth's baby refused to drink Kaori's milk. Hevan proved that she refused since her other mother's milk was normal, and the little Scyther Rika taken a liking for Astharoth's poisoned milk. She started to eat corpses, proving that she was anything but normal and human.
Which leads us to conclude than Astharoth's pregnancy is not a common case. (from Hevan's study archive).
