Why Rubican knows that the baby is not an human's?
- Her aura. Her aura have to be incredibly strong to be noticed if Rubican is in the area. In general, Rubican's aura can be noticed from another continent.
- There's no Hitodamas around her. (Hitodama: a fireball-ghost that appears when someone dies). Human's souls in Netherworld commonly have 5 to 9 Hitodamas.

Psychoetherose:
Rubican's definition: A rare and ancient thing… Psychoetherose is an hyper-sensibility to auras, which allows its host to growth in every element and become lot more powerful than the most of the living, including the Devil Hunters. It’s what we call “psychoetherose”. It’s an abnormal development of the sense, who allows its owner to resent every aura that is near the host.

Motherland: A place located in the Nine-Tails Graveyard, where Kumihoes come to die.

Kumiho (Kitsune Kumiho+[plural Kumihos]): Kitsune Kumihos are wandering fox spirit which generally takes the appearance of very beautiful women. They're generally friendly and spend most of their time in seducing the traveler. However, when the night comes, they can become very dangerous ; The moonlight reveal Kitsune Kumihos' true appearance, which usually is a monstrous fox.
They usually wears a cat mask, but they can hide it whenever they want. Breaking the mask exorcise the beast and allow the soul to find eternal slumber. But nowadays, Kumihos are extremely rare, and are seen as nature disaster or as benedictions, depending on traditions.
By the way, it's says that Kumihos affectionate the Nine-Tails Graveyard, in the Altremare continent, because this is the place where they come to die. It's also said that Kumihos can die many times without disappear.

@Peipei: He isn't really, yes… That's why he came and asked for Mortalis' help. She can be a good mother, but the fact she incarnates the death itself wouldn't motivate anybody to marry her. Plus, she wouldn't accept anyone. And finally, her body can't give birth since the "Death" is not made for giving birth to "Life". :(

She would have an adoptive daughter, raised up at the same time by her unique friend. A dream situation for her. ;o

@Dark Pascual: Since both are highly lethal divine creatures, they're used to glowing eyes… It's common as an intimidation sign. x)
