Afterwords

Pato asked how I was chosing the name of my characters.
It is simple.
In general, when I create the character's biography and background, I chose its name depending of his role in the story or depending of a mythological or traditional symbol that fit with the character.

For example, Izuna:
She is a fox spirit that appears on human form (a Bakemono-kitsune in japanese tradition) and lived a thousand years (a Tenko kitsune showing nine tails in japanese tradition). Izunas are fox ghosts that are said to bring natural disaster. Finally, Kitsunes are said to be the messenger of the Goddess Inari, goddess of the rice and the fertility.

All those symbols can be found in Izuna's character and/or personality (like she is not evil nor good, acting like if she was a pretty gentle woman only because Hakka is there.)

In general, I proceed like that. :)

Names I create have a meaning too, that I usually explain in the story.

But I won't tell you too much for now. ;3
