Especially when you know the level of psychic power that Venah is able to use and when you know that Hakka is able to use the same amount of mental wave… The first year of her training, she could not even sleep because she feared to kill Izuna with a neuronal chock…

A "living spirit" is an untouched spirit, a pure soul in strict sense. It birth in the Mother Land under the care of the Celestial Kitsunes and are usually composed by a the energy of their souls. They are real ghosts, spirits, sprites or fairies in strict sense, which mean that even though they can be touched, they are immaterial. An undead spirit sees his energy to rot and ends up with a real and material body incarning his lost purity. It is a broken existence, the mere reflect of a creature that once was. Even though they have a sort of intelligence, they have no conscience of their own. They're kinda closer to animals than a normal spirit… Izuna being a Mononoke, the corruption was more violent for her. But undead spirits are able to give birth as well as living spirit. But the result will be different, with the child being an undead spirit by nature… In the case of Fujiwara no Kumiko, Izuna's child, it was very strange. She will appear soon, but she has been named by her surrounding the "Silver Eyes Witch"…

Yes, at this date she is not born yet. She will birth the following year after this scene.. But Fujiwara no Kumiko was a special kind of spirit…

With the reading of her story after the 15 years, I think that there will be some things that you won't like in her… ;) She got some great traumatism while being a member of Riversky… And the event of the Hatsura Clan made her lose her reason during a good day where she massacred every single man she could met over the whole continent of Elum. Hopefully, her mind was restored by Venah's power, although she still has some sequels… But if she were to rise her hand against Izuna, she would break her soul herself, in general.

Lot of things changed… Hakka's way to perceive the world too! XD
14 years later she returned to a traditional lifestyle. She did everything by herself, and she built her house even 14 years before, but after the event of Dark Valkyrja, she'll return to a real and modest life rhythm.
