Words cannot describe the loathing I feel for my scanner. It was working just fine, but then based on a capricious whim, it decides to start hating me again. It's like a popular, blond middle-schooler, first snubbing me, then pretending to like me just for laughs, and then betraying me once more and laughing at my pain. My scanner should die, die and rot in electronics hell for all eternity.
