Panel 2: Re-l Mayer from Ergo Proxy. Fans quickly noticed a similarity in the character's design to the cover image of Evanescence's album Fallen.

Panel 3: Another character from Ergo Proxy. If you don't remember him, that's fine, because apparently he doesn't either. Check out episode 24, preferably after episodes 1-23.

Panel 4: More Panzer Cops in Protect-Gear. They tend to move in packs.

Panel 5: Four characters from Fushigi Yugi, a show about a girl who gets transported to another world and has to go on a quest to gather handsome men. The gender ratio and complexity of the costumes must make group bathroom breaks a pain.

Panel 6: Ryoga from Ranma 1/2… being asked for directions. (Insert explanation of any joke in Dexter.)

Panel 7: Vash from Trigun and Batou from Ghost in the Shell, both characters known for having prosthetic body parts and bad comedic timing.
