This chapter's title is a reference to Blazing Transfer Student, a little-known GAINAX show about a high-school student who inexplicably becomes the center of attention as soon as he walks through the gate. The main difference between anime that parody high school dramas and the actual dramas themselves is that the parodies are usually much shorter, dispensing with any explanation as to why the characters are behaving like stock genre characters in the first place.
