Every now and again, I get ideas for comics and characters and such from songs. Those ideas tend to stick. So, whenever I hear Betty Everett's "Shoop-Shoop Song" (It's in his kiss), I have this scenario in my head where The Misfits of Mischief have landed in some new parallel dimension which is Glee-ish, or Disney-esque, in that folks tend to randomly break into song. Some poor teenage girl, whom the boys befriend, (They need a place to stay, after all… they sleep in her mom's underwear drawer) is hopelessly in love with a boy at school.Unfortunately, this reality's Cupid is kind of a bastard, and thus, the cute boy is clueless, even after she takes the initiative and kisses him.The boys and the girl try to coerce Cupid into granting some love into the mix by singing the Shoop-Shoop Song AT him. (Cupid hates singing). This impromptu living music video takes place all around the High School, with the trickster godlings chasing Cupid and popping out of the scenery behind the girl as back-up singers… dressed as cheerleaders.Yes, I'm a weirdo, but I have fun.
