For those of you who don't read much manga, whenever Anime characters think perverted thoughts, they get a bloody nose. I've read several explanations for this phenomenon, the best is that thinking perverted thoughts 'Get the blood flowing'. Keep in mind, this is the same culture who invented the gigantic sweatdrop and drops washpans on people's heads. Then again, Americans invented the tongue roll, the wolf whistle, and anvil gags, so…I s'pose we're even.
