There's a soul locket around Mika's soul, binding her soul with chains. Rancid nabbed the locket, but that isn't her soul itself.

It may be a little confusing, the last time the locket appeared may have looked like a metaphor, but it exists. There's more to Mika than I can reveal at this point.

Also, since the chains are corporeal and essentially just spirit chains, they aren't always visible.

Ok, it's mostly because drawing 12 chains every time I want to show it is HARD!
