Some of you predicted this, some of you may be surprised. Keep in mind, she's just been reunited with her best friend, and she's also all gothy, so blood exchange is romantic for her. And Manga girls are always getting worked up over weird stuff. Indirect kisses, wearing their senpai's jackets…stuff like that. Remember, I said Manga, I doubt any real girls anywhere are like that, and if there are, send them my way, cuz that's cute as shit.

For those of you who aren't big an anime/Japan geek as I am, the red thread of fate refers to this, Not the comic, which is also good.
