Thanks for all the forum regulars who gave me advice about all this.

Also, I want to just thank you. The month is already over, but the final total for the donations for November has been $100! This is twice the average, so we managed to raise $10 for RAINN. This was good. A few people donated a good chunk, and I'm very grateful. We have some really big-hearted people out, and to show my appreciation, I'm going to throw in and extra $10 myself. Seems silly to donate less than $20.

Hopefully this month we can do just as good. Remember, lots of small donations can add up to a lot of money for charity. But in these rough financial times, we have to take what we can get, right?
