Okay, better late than never, it's the weekend after all.

No rant today, I'm sick of work, I'll leave it at that.

Mika looks SOOOO cute in that second panel. Of course, she's also slightly concussed.

Oh, right! I just went to see Drag Me To Hell last night, which, may be part of the reason I was late today (That and I had to work off some rage by blowing off people's faces in TF2).

Anyway, DMTH is a great movie. Classic 80's horror comedy without the cheap puppets and slime. It's amazing what 20 years of technological improvement can do for a genre. Darkly funny, scary as hell….and had a dorky coin collector.

Which…well, I would be like, 'A COIN collection? What a nerd! Let's give him a swirly!'. But, last year when I was working at the ice cream shop, tourists would throw anything shiny into the tip jar. I wound up with euros and other coins that I couldn't divide out to the other kids working there. I wasn't about to throw them away, so I kept them.

Before I knew it, I had a foreign coin collection. Not surprising, I used to collect…collections when I was growing up. Piggy banks, pez dispensers, postcards, I had a whole bunch. I still collect anime and manga and comics of course, but the Coin thing was completely accidental.

I have almost all the different coin denominations of Euros, a full set of British Pounds from my dad's trips to england, three Ukrainian coins, one from Senegal, one from the District of Rwanda (or something I don't want to spread out my collection to find it) Jamaican coins and a 20 dollar bill from Vietnam.

But now I'm starting collect rare American currency. It started with the gold coins with the presidents faces, I always grab those, now I'm trying to get all 50 state quarters, I have what pennies, but the earliest date on those I have is 1944.

But when I watched the movie, a Standing liberty quarter featured in the film and I was all like. 'Droooooool'.

Yeah, I'm an anime geek who goes to conventions and dresses like Mario, and my coin collection is the one I'm embarrassed about.
