Okay….I…LOVE these freakin' elves. Very complicated details but I love love LOVE them. I love the bone wind chime earring on Gramma.

A little background on the Tundra Elves. They were once forest elves who worshiped a nature god, but they grew corrupt and so were banished to the First Continent. They were extremely talented craftsmen (Craftselves?) who could make anything out of wood that the dwarves could make out of steel. Wood jewelry, weapons, even magical servants. But the FC has no trees, nothing can grow in it, so wood to them has become more precious than gold. They LOVE wood! If that circle wasn't keeping the area around them protected, they would be [pulling up the wooden floorboards right now.

That's why Granny's earring is brown. It's an ornately carved wooden earring. The bones were just strung on there later.
