Sid is a man of few words and many punches.

There are some days my job isn't soul-crushingly horrible. Today I got a little can of vanilla luxury wafer thingies from this sweet old lady who shops at our store. She got stuff for everyone in the store (as far as I can tell) because we help her out with her shopping. It was an unexpected treat.

And actually, the day before that, I was getting the last of the Lantern rings at the local comic book shop. I had bought one of the comics for the rings already (probably at a boarders) but he just threw in the last ring. So now I have the full set. Awesome.

It's stuff like that that somewhat restores my faith in humanity.
