Sort of Bruising the fourth wall here. Sort of a tip to the cap to Nariko's 'it's like a bad comic plot' thing. But this is seen in other comics. Notably, anything where people jokingly ask 'Okay, where's the camera?', or specifically, in Hand Maid Mai (May) the main bad guy, (Dunno name anymore, but he always called May 'Milky Silky!') went "Is this Manga?".

Also, Mika can't cook. Oh, she helped make the boys breakfast when they came back from the summer vacation, but left on her own in the kitchen and every fire alarm will go off, soup will fight back, and we still aren't sure where that souffle ran off too. The joke will be revisited later.
