I would like to remind my readers that Jimbo does not use a metal sword. He uses a practice sword, known as a boken.

I like Mr. Fuji, the tengu in this picture. He's the only known Mount Fuji tengu left. Most of them died in the war, others vanished. Even he doesn't know if there are any of his clan left.

I got some inspiration for Jimbo's outfit from this short animated piece.

Since he's a swordsman I wanted him to be sort of the 'Gentleman Pirate' archetype. Mika is the typical captain, Weasel is the doc, Mookie sort of a working class outfit, Inspired by the sea pirate girl from RPG World. I would show you a link, but apparently the entire archive is broken. If anyone just happens to have saved the comic please send it to me, I'm suddenly nostalgic to read it.

I'm not sure what to do with Taro. I am thinking of putting him in a dress but I don't know if I should do it like Frilly wench clothes, more like the girl from Pirates of the Carribean, or something Sea Witchy…

Let me know what you think I'll be working on something with her this weekend.
