Pirates spend a lot of time away from home, so have a lot of time to practice their musical numbers. This particular dance is one my roommates have had the horror to witness me doing. And since writing the Ballad of Captain Keel, it's become known as the 'Shanty Dance'.

You just swing your arms side to side (holding them at right angles) and kick step your leg on the opposite side. Repeat until seasickness settles in.
