So…I know what you're asking yourselves…how could the Kappas slide into their shells and the clothes they were wearing AND a baby vanish inside when the shells are smaller than the Kappa themselves?

Magic. What a silly question.

That's the Kappa's residual magical talent, the only one they really have left. The inside of their shells are kind of like Jeanie's bottle from I Dream of Jeanie. Inside is a full home that they furnish themselves. It allows them to store an insane number of items that they seemingly pull out of nowhere. Even items that by any right should not be able to fit in there, like a four poster king-size bed.


I was going to put sound effects in the last panel…just assume he's moving faster than sound.
