This has been up on my gallery for over a week now, but since hardly anyone checks it, I'm posting it up for this week. I also added the warning page to it.
Bottom line is, the new DD set up is slow, it has barely worked since coming online, I can't post any ads so the last few scraps (and I do mean scraps, I earned probably $60 bucks in 6 months) of money the comic DID make is no more.
Think of it this way, right now, Mob Ties is a bit like if I were working a full time job, then I used the profits from that to run my own soup kitchen. Buying the food, spending hours preparing it and then giving it away for free to very grateful people. It makes me feel better about myself and is highly rewarding, but at the end of the night I'm broke and smelling slightly of hobo chilli.
I was preparing for a convention, but honestly, I have nothing to sell, my website looks like shit and I don't really have the funds to prepare anything. I'll still go to it, even if I can't get ready but I'll be honest, if something doesn't change by the end of October, I'm going to seriously reconsider my options.
But, in the meantime, thank you for your past support, thanks as always for reading, and I sincerely hope that I can continue to bring you quality comics.
