This Barbie is a Medusa!

Hi everyone. I took most of July off, but I'll be returning next week (likely Weds the 9th of August) with new strips. In the meantime, here's Modest Medusa as Barbie! I saw the Barbie movie this week and thought it was pretty funny.  I think Modest would enjoy it too (although I doubt she'd know what a Barbie is. Her toybox seems pretty limited.)

I ended up taking an extra two weeks for my vacation, and I wish I could say it was successful. I think I may have just lost the ability to relax. I ended up spending most of the time catching up on work, chores and business stuff I've put off. I did have a chance to play some games (Remnant 2 and Etrian Odyssey V) and read a book (the Fifth Season). Coming back to work I feel like my anxiety and stress are as high as ever, and if anything I'm even more exhausted than I was before my vacation started. It may have helped to actually go somewhere instead of staying in town, but that wasn't in my budget. Its a little frustrating to not take a vacation for most of a decade and then when I finally do it just… doesn't work. I'm not sure what to do about that.

On the other hand, coming back to the comic DOES feel good. I'm looking forward to the next set of strips and the new season. Working on the comic always makes me happy, no matter how much stress and anxiety I feel. Its probably what has kept me going all these years!
