In all seriousness, BOAT~. I finally drew it–zoomed out, overhead view, no copouts. And I mostly almost didn't botch the vantage point until I started drawing the front end of it. But you get the idea…! And that's the important thing. It is no longer a secret what the Chainless looks like (or that I suck at drawing ships).

I was quite low on caffeine when I wrote the dialogue, and Photoshop was giving me guff–so forgive me if things sound a bit off. Actually, about Photoshop–why does it hate me so much? It seems like it gets slower and slower with every comic I do, freezing at inopportune times for what seems like NO REASON AT ALL. Like, page nine (Long Talks with Ravens, for those keeping score at home) was HUGE and I didn't experience as much slowdown as I did working on these last two pages. All I'm sayin' is, Photoshop better get its act together, or I'm… I don't know, switching to MSPaint or something. Or buying some COLORED PENCILS, YEAH.

The first chapter is almost over, but nooot quite. Really getting anxious to start chapter two, but I gotta clear a few things up first. OH, and I brought this up on my bloggy parts on Comic Fury already, but: FORUM. What does everybody think? I'm considering kicking a forum up at twenty pages or so and linking all my host sites to it, but I don't know if I actually have enough readers to warrant that sort of behavior. Tell me what you think.

And keep spreading the word! Tell your friends! I actually saw a pretty big spike in activity the last time I asked, so maybe if I keep asking people will keep doing it and I NEED ATTENTION TO LIVE. Feed me.
