Putting a character in a badly cut oval means that he is not actually in that scene, but the player talks anyways. It should be better than the dialogue-coming-from-out-of-the-comic thing I've been doing up to now. Ok, technically Logan is in this scene, but there was no good shot of his face in this part, so it's about the same. Right?
Also, I was going to have the DM saying something like "Oh, it's been in fire for a while. I didn't tell you because you had enough things in your hands", but it didn't fit.
